Kira:One Year!!

Kira is one year old today! She is an amazing girl and it is so much fun getting to know her huge personality. Kira is cuddly, pretty easy going in general but can be unbelievably feisty! She is super smart, is a great walker and can say mamma, dadda, Aila, ya, and no (when answering a question) and says "wa" for water, "boo" for book and when you ask her what a tiger says she does an amazingly cute growl. She loves to dance and give all of her dolls and stuffed animals hugs. She still won't eat anything squishy but loves all things crunchy and loves her veggies. She points to things she wants and if you don't give it to her will throw a pretty big fit. She has four teeth. She is a really happy girl and we constantly thank God for the two wonderful girls he has given us.

And oh my goodness is she photogenic!

Kira: 11 Months

Kira is 11 months and has been learning so much. She is now a full blown walker and loves to walk around everywhere. She is so proud of herself! She communicates with us very well either by calling for us (mamma, dadda, and Aiya), shaking her head, pointing, signing all done, giggling or the occasional yell or growl. She loves to have books read to her and has been such a trooper during all of our Disney visits. She loves to cuddle and is finally eating things! She refuses to let me put anything in her hair and will occasionally check to make sure nothing is in it and loves putting things on top of her head. I had a lot of fun during this shoot so there are lots of pictures.

Kira: 10 Months!

Kira is 10 months! She loves to play. If you start up a game of peek-a-boo or chase she will reward you with huge smiles and giggles. She crawls and stands and is starting to take some of her first steps. She loves to point to tell you what she wants, loves to be read to, she can nod and shake her head and will say "no no no" whenever she is about to do something she is not allowed to do. She is a big cuddler, adventurous and climbs all over the place and if you say "Go Kira, Go Kira, Go Kira" while she is standing up she will start dancing every time.

Aila: Three Years Old!

Aila is 3 years old! She is amazing. Aila is witty, articulate, tender hearted, fiesty, and extremely smart. She is a great big sister but does have a hard time sharing mommy and daddy. She takes 20-30 minutes to decide if a person is worth playing with but loves them dearly once she warms up to them. She has a great imagination and loves to put on her super cape and zoom around the room. She adores Cinderella, her favorite color is blue and would watch Mickey Mouse Club House all day if she could. She also loves Disneyland. She is currently 38 inches tall and can't wait till she grows another 3 inches so she can go on some big kid rides.

Kira: 9 months

Kira is 9 months old! She is 19lbs and 28 in long, which is about in the 75 percentile for both. She is constantly amazing us with her understanding, physical strength, and vocabulary. She can stand all by herself, crawls at a surprisingly fast rate, loves to pull things out of baskets and getting into things in general. She can say mamma, dadda, Aila, and up. She is very determined and gets MAD if you try to take anything away from her or keep her from doing what she wants. She has learned to go feet first when getting off of something that isn't ground level, can climb up stairs and loves playing with her sister's hair. She still hasn't been able to figure out the whole eating thing yet but isn't completely opposed to trying new things.

Kira: 8 Months

Our sweet girl is 8 months! She is such a fun little girl. She loves to play and laugh but she'll let you know she doesn't like something by growling at you, crying or screaming. She can stand up all on her own, says mamma and dadda and waves hello. She has two teeth but still hates to eat. I haven't been able to get her to swallow anything yet!

Kira: 7 Months

Kira is 7 months old! She is pretty laid back and loves to explore. She can crawl and pick herself up to stand. Her two bottom teeth finally came in. She is putting everything in her mouth and will make eye contact with you and growl if you take anything away. She is also babbling all the time. She will have full conversations with you consisting of cooing, squealing and saying babababa.
